[RC] back pain - heidi sowards

I have lower back pain/problems. Sitting at my desk or in a
car is excruciating sometimes. My other saddles killed me.
(A Thorowgood and a Wintec Aussie.) They make me lean
forward to get my feet under me and my back kills me the
next day or after 5 miles, whichever comes first. Anyway, I
have a Free and Easy saddle now, and for the first time my
back doesn't hurt after a ride. I'd love to sit in it while
at the computor at work. It sits you more like you're
riding bareback and takes pressure off the lower part of
your spine. You might just try different saddles for the
riding part of it. I've heard for normal life, if you do
crunches, that you can strengthen your stomach muscles to
help take the pressure off your back. I have been too lazy
to try this approach I'm afraid.
