They won't stand up to racing shoes with toe grabs, or other really sharp protrusions. With normal shoes, they hold up very well. We know of some that have been in use for 10 years & many thousand hauling miles.

Will be interesting to see longevity.  My Silverado stock trailer came with
1/2 inch mats.  Within the year
they had rips and holes.  They were replaced with 3/4 mats, which are
holding up fine.
