Re: [RC] [RC] ? Western Raised horses out East - Cowgirgoof

Hey Roger,
I have brought four Moyle horses from Idaho to Florida in the past 22 years,
and have only had one major form of adaption problem. This has been with
bug/skin allegies. All of them have developed gnat/no-see-um allergies within
the first summer or two of arriving. Of course this is Florida where everything
is worse when it comes to skin problems. You may not have a problem in TN. It
also could be breed related to some extent...
Otherwise, they handle the heat very well, their hooves have adapted to a more
sand enviornment, and they seem to do pretty well. I sure do go through alot of
fly spray in the summer though!!

Becky
