You becha you need to train the horse to be mounted from both sides.

Being a generally lazy person and always looking for time shortcuts...the
side I mount
from is the side of the horse closest to me.

Likewise, the order they get put in the trailer is whichever one I grab
first, goes in first, etc.

I actually find it easier to mount from the right side; maybe it has
something to do with being
left handed...but it never does feel easy getting off on the right.
However, the time the stallion
jumped the mare I was riding bareback, you can be sure I bailed off to the
right pretty darn quick!
