[RC] eggs and water balloons - Ed Kilpatrick

hi charles, the best place to keep the eggs and water balloons is somewhere back at the house.  use them on the wife and kids, just for fun.  :-)
someone posted and told about their farrier/horse trainer's advice on what to do about rearing horses.  this guy makes more sense than anyone else so far on this topic.  well, he essentially says the same things that i do, but i guess nobody read my post earlier on this.  maybe i wasnt controversial enough to get any one's attention.
besides, what i recommend is boring, boring, boring.  groundwork, groundwork, and in your spare time, when you dont need to ride, more groundwork.  flexing excercises to get the horse soft, supple, and paying attention to you. one rein stops from the saddle to keep the horse relaxed, working and paying attention. some gimmicks might work sometimes, but nothing works as well as good, consistent work and patience.    ed kilpatrick, sneads, florida
