Re: [RC] Girth for a Sport Saddle - Mickie Newnam

Paul,
Is this with a sport saddle or another? My gelding's dam has a very narrow girth groove, and the only girth her owner has found that will not rub her is the one Teddy Lancaster sells. there may be others, but since that one works she hasn't needed to look any further. they hold up to a lot of use too; I'm still using one I got when I got my sport saddle about 8-10 years ago, though I do have several...
Mickie

Speaking of girths... Having a problem with gall.. Have tried wool(?) and neoprene, but after riding for a while the girth occasionaly seems to slip forward enough to sometimes gall her at her elbow area... This isn't an every day thing, but would like to correct it. Mohair has been suggested, but no experience with it.
Ideas??

thanks...

Paul and Mika
