[RC] [Guest] rough trot( here to stay) - Ridecamp Moderator

Lianne Cantrall dcantrall105@xxxxxxx
I have one of those. Yes he has a big heart. The faster you go and the more sandwiched in you are the rougher it gets. My horse is actually quite nice at a slow pleasure trot. He would be a good pleasure horse. I have a question . Of the two people who have contributed to this thread, do your horses over reach in the back and go up and down with a short stride in the front.? If they do, do you have problems with your horse dog trotting? That gets to me more than the jack hammer trot. I have tried hard to correct him but he does not want to hit himself so he dog trots. I am worried this will lead to problems for both of us. Any input out there. I'm sure the answer will be to get a horse with better conformation for endurance. This is the sweetist horse I have ever owned. Thanks Lianne
