Unless it is in the humid SE. I work with fabrics alot,and even though cotton USED ot be the coolest, I now use coolmax, dri-fit, dri-weave, etc.
type shirts for riding or working outside. They wick the sweat away and let air through,I find them much cooler than cotton, which gets damp and just gets clammy.
I usually get mine at Marshalls clearance. You can get them in the active sportswear section of most stores or in bycycle/tennis; sporting goods stores. LAurie
