RE: [RC] wide saddle trees update - Libby & Quentin Llop I spoke with Ron Bates (as in Bates saddles,
founder of Wintec) yesterday. He said that the x-tra wide gullet plate (white)
is the widest that you can put in the current saddles without deforming the tree
and possibly causing warps and wrinkles in the seat. They are however bringing
out a wide saddle with 3 gullet plates of it's own (not to be interchanged with
current saddles). They have already been released in
England.
They are also totally redesigning the Wintec endurance. The new one will not
have the extended panels and is being designed to fit Arabs.
