[RC] Now what? - Trail Pal

I brought my horses in for dinner tonight and noticed little specks on
my bay's knees - I checked his pasturemates and they have 'em too. I
think they are bot eggs - it seems early and dry for them, but this is
just my first year here in southwest Nebraska, so I don't know the
pattern.

I scraped most of them off with my bot knife - do I need to worm with a
boticide soon? The local vets tell me ivermectin after the first hard
frost, which is a few months away. I give strongid (panacur) on a
monthly basis from spring til first frost.

Thanks,
Rosalie Marley
