I use my monitors on 5 different horses and with different saddles.
Whenever I get the symptoms you are describing, it is almost exclusively the
result of the girth not being tight enough.  I do use EKG Gel, which you can
get in large quantities from your vet and refill your pouch tube
yourself-use a syringe with no needle-.  Good luck.
