[RC] [Guest] LDs - Ridecamp GuestLaurie Underwood jimmy@xxxxxxxxxxx Like Susan Reid, I've never felt a bias against LDs in the Southeast. Quite the opposite in fact. One of the things I love most about endurance is the friendships we build and the support the riders give one another. As a group endurance riders are generous with their time, equipment, etc., and I've never failed to receive help or advice whenever I've needed it. I've learned alot from the vets and from riders in both venues (distance and LD) and expect to continue to learn more every year. I'm quite happy with LDs as currently handled by AERC. Let's move on to something else . . . . I log onto RideCamp to learn from you guys, and that doesn't happen when the posts are spent on these periodic blowups. I do have a question: how does one define "overridden"? Does it mean that the horse was forced or pushed beyond its training and/or capabilities or does it mean that the horse ended up being treated during or after the ride? In my mind it's the former. Susan, let me know when you receive that wallet . . . I'm 240 miles from mine!
