Re: [RC] re: Mojave Greens and Cottonmouths - Barbara McCrary
I was riding with Jackie Bumgardner once, up
on the mountainside where she trains. I had just been told about the
Mojave green when we came off a single-track trail and onto a jeep road.
There under a bush was a snake. He didn't come after us, but he
looked menacing enough.
Karen Nelson is telling you the absolute truth. Folks living in the
Ridgecrest area, as I did, can tell you that the Green is a very agressive
snake that WILL come after you. I know this is unusual snake behavior,
but there are exceptions. I grew up in South Louisiana and Cottonmouths
are also an agressive snake that will swim toward you.
