[RC] [RC] [Guest] Horse on stall rest getting too fat - Ridecamp Guest

Laurie Durgin
===========
You could use a weight tape or any long tape measure.Just measure the same
time every week.
   A stall ball/Hoola hoop,one of those 'roll around feeders",or maybe  a
plain basketball.
 If you are careful.You could use a haynet.(tie high and tie bottom up
through top, so as it emptys it doesn't drop ala pony club style).It may
make his hayeating more "interesting, and he has to pull it out".
  A radio?(TV might work too:}
  We extended an electric fence outside our horses stall bout 20 feet x 15
feet so he could see the other horses and sunbask,but not get up any speed
to trot.  Laurie/Rascal/Honey/Scout
