My horse also tied up after the first 3 miles of a ride. Same MO. Never
tied up before this and I also had given her a dose just prior to take
off. I leave the lyte now in my trailer all the time, so it inevitably
hits high temps in there.
Just curious what you guys think. Could there be a correlation?
I know there had been an earlier post
about concerns with the LyteNow Electrolytes. I can't seem to find it
and am wanting to know what it was about. I had my horse tie-up
recently and a friend asked me if I used LyteNows, which I have for some
time and like them. I did have them in the trailer for a couple days
(100+ heat) before leaving and wonder if maybe I caused something to go
bad? I did give him a dose as usual that morning and have since
tossed out the other tube that had been in the trailer also. Could someone
tell me if this may have been a contributing factor to the tie-up? It
was a classic, within the first five miles, and he has never shown any
signs of tieing in the two years I have owned
him.
