Re: [RC] ?filter ridecamp mail - Annie George

Yes I just learned that myself, lets see now if I can remember. Go to Outlook Express, rite click on "inbox" left click new folder. then type in the space the name of the folder you want. (Ride Camp) click OK and it will appear under the inbox. The next thing to do is go into >Tools >> Message rules>> Mail ....When you get there make sure you are in the Mail Rules Tab and click on 'NEW'... Then you go to the first window, and scroll to >  "where the from line contains " check that box>>   then in the second window click on 'Move to specified folder" check that box, THEN....go to the bottom and click on the blue underlined  "contains specific words" then type in that place  Ride Camp. >>>Thing is that the  words need to match. So be sure of the from line on the incoming mail. I hope I haven't missed anything. I made several folders under my inbox. And it works out great, if you find stuff going to the wrong place just redo it.  But once you get in there and play with it it is kind of self explanatory. Good Luck Annie G.

Subject: [RC] ?filter ridecamp mail

Hi,  does anyone know how to filter mail so that the abundance (millions it sometimes seems) gets filtered into a separate mail box?  It sometimes feels like I am looking for a needle in a haystack for any other mail.
Thanks,
EMG
