[RC] cow tanks ride in New Mexico - Teresa Van Hove

I'm thinking about taking Grey down to this ride in Feb.
probably to ride the LD 2 days.

We're actually doing some winter conditioning this year
and it sure feels good! As usual I've pulled shoes for
the winter so I'm wondering what the ride footing is
like. I have easy boots all the way 'round for Grey
and will pack them; but I want to know if I should
plan on needing them. We live on a sand hill not a
rocky mtnside so if the footing is rocky or hard-pack
with gravel Grey will need them; but if its mainly
sand he should be fine w/o them at least for the
first day.

Thanks,
Teresa and Grey Moun
