[RC] [Guest] back trouble? - Ridecamp Moderator

Shanna sheacat@xxxxxxxxx
I have been leasing a 14 year old Arab gelding from a local boarding stable. In the past, he has apparently had a problem with bad hocks...though suppliments and chiropractic work seem to have made a huge difference. Lately I have noticed a tendany for his back end to 'drop out' from under him. He has done this several times and it is starting to worry me. It feels like his back end just suddenly drops out from under him. He does this just as frequently at the beginning as at the end of the ride, and a friends horse is doing this as well. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be the problem? I am really worried about him.

Thanks,

Shanna & Chase
