[RC] [Guest] Big South Fork - Ridecamp Moderator

Big South Fork is an awesome ride (my favorite), but it is difficult. The trails and views are absolutely gorgeous. There are many climbs and steep downhills, gravel logging roads and rocks. Dont remember seeing tons of roots. I recommend pads at this ride, as well as a breastcollar if you have one. Water was plentiful on the trail. There is also water at camp, although you have to drive to get it. The away vetcheck (on Day 1) can be crowded, so I would recommend setting up there early if you can. The first year I rode, the away vetcheck on Day 2 had lots of room. I didnt get to ride on Day 2 last year, so I am not sure what the setup is like.

I wont get to ride at BSF this year, so Ill enjoy it vicariously through your posts . . . . . your posting of the Pyramid Ride (which I also missed this year) was wonderful.
