[RC] Splash...right into the trough - Jonni Jewell

Was on a NATRC ride today, and Ridecamp came to mind....as someone's mare
decided to paw the water in the low cement water trough. Ended up with both
front feet in the trough. She kind of reared and spun to get out. Lucky to
not have banged up legs, or worst, have front feet slip out from under her
as they landed on the moss covered trough bottom. She did it so quick and
without warning. I was standing there with my horse, and one min. the mare
was drinking, then next she lifted one foot up, into trough, kind of got off
balance, so lifted other front foot, to place it next to the one in the
water. I was off tossing water on my horse with a scoop.....(I'll do the
cooling, thank you very much! LOL)
