[RC] losing a beloved friend - Lynda K ThompsonGive your horse a hug today. I lost mine last night. He was my little freebie and he was an awesome little horse. Anybody could ride this guy. He was 13 years old and I got him in March to condition for a guy and ended up acquiring him. He was fine yesterday morning at 8:30 and by 9:30 I could tell something was wrong. I thought maybe a minor colic so I took him to the vet and it wasn't in his stomach but something was twisted farther back. I gave him all day to come out of it but by 9 last night he was getting worse and there was nothing else to do but let him go. This was such a hard decision to make and I wish that nobody had to go through it.
