Re: [RC] [RC] Alternative Ride/Race After-care - rides2far

On Daily Ride, Does anyone else feel hungry????????.

I was *born* hungry. I've warned my riding buddies that if I ever fall
off my horse and I'm not breathing they should first try the Heimlich
maneuver since I'm always eating as we go down the trail. >g< My horse is
so used to it that when he hears a baggie opening he starts backing up
trying to get back there where the food is.

Fortunately our trails up the mountains almost always have a section
where the footing is so bad you have to walk so that's when I break out
the sandwich or whatever. I wear a large fannypack so I can just turn it
on my waist and get to the food. I recommend you make your sandwich on a
hamburger bun so it will fit comfortably down inside your easyboot. Use
the zip lock bag not the fold lock or you'll be eating the dirt from
inside the easy boot. :-P This is one more reason to ride an endurance
horse with big feet. Kaboot wears a size 2 easyboot so I get to buy the
*big* bagels. :-)
