[RC] Feeding grass clippings - Mateef

Is it safe to feed fresh grass clippings to horses? My brother-in-law lives
next door and when he mows, he collects several handfuls of fresh grass
clippings to give to my horses. I personally don't feel they need anything
more
than what I feed them, but I don't want to cause hard feelings if it's not
harmful. Any hard data on this? Thanks.
