Re: [RC] No war on RideCamp - Howard Bramhall

I was at a family reunion, with a bunch of relatives who drink and party
almost as much as me.  Since I have an Air Force related fear of flying, I
drove all the way to Delaware and back in my diesel pick up truck with the
American flag and a CYA sticker on the back window (let's not forget the
Gator tags up front!).  Plus, I've been riding my butt off since April.  Got
two new horses, with a grand total of six, so, all I do now is ride and ride
and ride and ride (even in this friggen heat down here this time of year).

I'm a bit upset that we have all decided "no war" is some sort of absolute
policy that must be followed absolutely here on Ridecamp. Who are we?  A
bunch of former hippies who can't let that one go?  haha.

I've seen so many battles emanate from this domain over the years, I don't
believe total peace will ever be achieved (on Ridecamp or in the Middle
East), but, it is a lovely idea.  Hey, it's only my silly opinion.  Nobody
ever listens to me anyway.

Endurance = Life, and since life, encompasses just about everything, I think
a little war talk every now and then should be included.  I mean, come on,
at your normal ridecamp campfire it's not always the horse we talk about all
the time, is it?  OK, maybe it is, but someone sometimes throws in a non
horsey discussion on occasion.  Am I right?

Don't worry, Nikki, like Arnold is more than likely to say this summer on
the big screen, "I'll be back."
