[RC] Insurance (was Newbie here) - Jonni Jewell

My question is about insurance regarding endurance riding. My sister and
I have our two horses on a friend's property, with private horse owner's
liability. All the riding we've done and horses we'd owned prior to this
were at the riding stables we'd been attending since we started so it was
never an issue. Is it necessary to up my insurance to something that will
cover more if and when we begin traveling to rides? <<<

Are you a member of AHSA...wait, sorry, USEquestrian? By being a member, you
automatically have a liability policy through them. BUT, I would look into
it further, as I might have seen something where it did not cover races, or
training for races or speed events. USEquestrains insurance is through
Equisure, which you can get different equine policies direct from them.
Their web page is:

http://www.equisure-inc.com/

Not sure if that is the infor you were looking for, and they type of
insurance you were wanting.
