[RC] Fw: poll on equestrian land access-VOTE YES_PLEASE-NOW - Wendy Mancini

Not sure if this has been posted but a repeat doesn't hurt. Even if you
aren't a trail person all of us horse people have to stick together.

Subject: Fwd: poll on equestrian land access-VOTE YES_PLEASE-NOW

So far the vote (with my agree vote) is 49.9% for, 47.5% against!
We need to get more equestrians to vote! It's easy and quick and
anonymous. I don't know I'll ever use the trails in question but the
Forestry Service needs to know we are out there! Please help to preserve
our
access to trails!

<< Dear Trail Riding Friends,

There is presently a poll being taken by the Harrisburg Daily Register in
Illinois on the U.S. Forestry Commission's decision to allow equestrian
trail
riding on Federally owned land.

Please visit the page, (www.dailyregister.com) and vote; showing your
agreement to Commission's decision.

You don't have to be an Illinois resident nor a subscriber to the
Register
to
cast your vote in the poll, and in the long run, your opinion may show to
be
of true value if this information is to be used politically against
public
land access by trail riders in the future. Thanks...Dave
