Re: [RC] [RC] Trailer windows - too big? - Laurie Durgin

I too have heard of a horse or two going thru the windows/and some getting stuck too. Never drive with windows down, horses hsve been decapitated by semis, bridges, etc. I have seen some people doing that though. Not to mention ,bugs and debris in their eyes. A trainer ai know has thema n d bought screens and trailers like that , but i always cringed when she did that.No screen would stop them if they weere crazy enough to try to go thru or even just shove their head through. And one of hers was crazy enough to get impaled by a broken broom handle she left in the trailer. Nice horse, had to be put down. uuuugggghhhh. Laurie and Rascal

YEARS ago, when I was showing as a teenager, my friend brought her Mustang
along. We left him in the trailer and all of a sudden we heard this horrible
banging noise. We ran out there to find that he'd climbed over the manger
and into the tack room. We had to let him out through the tack room door.
The trailer did not have any bars or doors between the manger and the tack
room. Fortunately, he was a narrow little dude. If he'd been my QH, we'd
have never gotten him out!
