I started saying, "Toot, toot" as if I were
a model-T sounding its horn. The dogs really scamper away if I
do that. I would guess just about any term would work if said in the
proper tone at the proper time.
Hi MaryLynn. I know that you
do "agility training" with your dog. Why not teach her the "out" command
(like you do for out jumps)? Then when she gets too close, just say
"Out!"
