Now you have me curious.  The next time I examine my horse, I'm going to
look for whorls.....and hope I find them behind the ears!
I'll keep you posted on my findings.

Not to bring up this subject again, but since my post last year regarding
what my farrier told me about whorls, I've become a complete believer.
The
horses I've seen exhibit the above behavior, had at least one whorl/swirl
halfway down their neck, rather than directly behind the ears. It's like
they have to be worked with constantly and don't easily retain the lessons
they learn,  like they just "don't get it", therefore making them very
reactive to the world, IMHO  The word I would best use to sum it up would
be, well, a Squirrel.

Steph, blessed with Doc - a swirl right behind each ear, a thinker,
stable,
and a gentle nature rarely needing to be reminded about anything.  Nothing
squirrely about me!
