Re: [RC] Hollering horse - A. PerezI don't agree that you should just let him do it. It IS annoying, and probably does not do much for his performance, either. Find something that annoys him and do that every time he hollers. Some people swear by shaking a soda can with a dozen or so pennies in it as a deterrent. I have trained my horse that a sharp 'HEY!' means 'Knock it off' by coupling it with a good sharp rap with a crop - after a while the verbal reprimand alone is sufficient. ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
