hi all, when this first started, i was talking about both, a big, healthy, blood pumping muscle group, and that willing spirit, give all he's got and more kind of attitude..that is harder to measure! and i think that it isnt necessary for your horse to have a big heart, literally or figuratively to do well at endurance, but maybe it helps!  ed
