[RC] [Guest] Tucker saddles - Ridecamp Guest

Diane Farnsworth

I just finished a multi-day ride and found my saddle does not fit my horse.
So now, I am doing the great saddle search. I did an archive search on
Tucker saddles and found that some think the stirrups are too far forward
and others think the Equitation Endurance model is very well balanced. Amber
Applegate mentioned she has three styles and likes all of them (Aug. 2002).
I also have a friend who rides the Original Endurance model and loves it. My
Arab has high withers, somewhat narrow shoulders, a flat back, and
well-sprung ribs. I have a short inseam and have trouble with being able to
get traditional western type fenders with enough twist at the stirrup to
allow my foot to stay comfortable for hours.

Is anybody using or still using a Tucker and what do you think of them? Any
other suggestions? Thanks for your help.

Diane
