[RC] [Guest] Which lining to choose for Torsion Endurance saddle - Ridecamp Guest

Sarah Rose

Hi guys, been lurking on the list for a while now, and I have been having so
much fun searching the ridecamp archives for all sorts of stuff. The one
thing I couldn't find in the archive I am writing about today. I am trying
to make up my mind which lining would be best for the torsion endurance
saddle. They have suede, sympatex, and fleece. I live in North Texas where
it gets pretty darned hot in the summer and pretty cold in the winter. I am
currently working my horse towards a limited distance ride and I don't think
I will ever do a 100, but possibly a 50. Any suggestions would be
appreciated! Thanks!

Oh and also they recommended a gel insert if you are a heavyweight rider,
which I am, any comments as to the insert?

I currently ride in a Tucker Plantation saddle on my walking horse, but it
is so heavy I am looking for something lighter and that gives him more
freedom of movement through his back and shoulders.

Sarah
