Hi Steve, It's probably about 50/50 at any given endurance ride as to 
wrappers/non-wrappers :)

-Wrappers will tell you it makes them more comfortable and  prevents 
swelling

-Non-wrappers will say they don't like the heat buildup, they want to see 
any swelling and it just makes us feel better.

Me personally, I've wrapped and not wrapped after a ride and really 
haven't noticed any difference in the horse's comfort level <shrug>
