An equine nosebleed is either one of two things - a small scrape or cut in the nostril (which was our problem and is no big deal) or a sign of an internal respiratory tract injury - which very often CAN BE a major problem. Our little slice healed up nicely and we had no further problems. You might want to get a Vet's opinion on your mount's nosebleed to make sure there is nothing terribly wrong. I certainly don't want to alarm you - or anyone else - just passing on what we were told by a Vet we love and trust. :o) Any ridecamp Vets have input?
