[RC] Light Riding Question - Vchorsegal

Hi Val-
What if you ponied your horse at a walk, starting at 15 to 20 minutes, and increased it by 5 minutes or so each time, assuming there was no heat or swelling ( or lameness )  I would check it the morning after each workout, after your horse has been standing around.  I would think you could add a couple minutes of slow trotting here and there, building trotting in at a sensible rate with mostly walking in the beginning, etc. You could ride after several sessions intermittently, remembering that your horse has the added weight of a rider.  Good Luck !
