My husband just told me about a woman in his Navy Reserve unit who has been
deployed to the Persian Gulf recently.  She has two horses boarded and now
that she has lost her regular income and will only receive pay from the
Navy, she may lose her horses.  She lives in Tehachapi and I'm wondering if
any kind soul might be able to help her with space to board her horses.  I
don't know her personally, but imagine getting uprooted to do your duty and
not know if your horses will be there when you come home!  We would offer
but don't have the space...and we are pretty far from Tehachapi.  She
doesn't know I'm asking and she can probably afford some board, but I'd love
to pass some help her way. I feel so lucky, my husband got called, too, but
will only be in Camp Pendleton starting March 24th. I pray he doesn't go
overseas.

If anyone is able to help in the Tehachapi, CA area please email me ASAP
...it would be great to pass the info on to her!  Thanks
