It was like eons ago but i did it. What do you want to
know? It would take volumes. This comes up from time to time.
There were many that were there at the start and half finished or were at the
finish. Read the book and it will tell some of the stories but every one
can never be told because of lack of memory or some things just can't be
said. One thing i will say is that some horses died but not from being
over ridden (mainly accidents and colic and twisted testicles). Some
marriages were broken and some cemented. It was a little like
life...everything happened and it was a case of adapting thru turmoil, politics
and a grand life adventure. It will never be repeated, nor should it or
could it. Meeting Virl Norton, Smokey Killen, Eva Taylor, Bruce
Branscomb, Kerry Ridgeway,Linda Tellington-Jones, Juel Ashley, Roger Justice,
Lori and Rick Stewart, Hal Hall,Dave Nicholson, Phil Gardner, Hope
Lundquist,Karen Villander,Rick Bingham,Darrell Neilsen, Mac Abercrombie, Sam
Garner, Diane Marquad,Marian Molthan,Amanda Bandy,Ted Allegri, Sarah
Howell,Irene Burd,Lloyd Leslie,Sally White,all the Briggs',the Europeans,Sonny
Ferris and Cathryn Vallet and the Orloff,Larry Lewis and the Kansas Ski
Team,Team LaFayette,Bandit, Sugar,Dude,Leroy....and all the others i can't
