[RC] restrictions - Larry Miller

I have gone to parks where there are restrictions. And yes, I would go
back. In the 70s when we first began this sport outside of a few rides, we
had to tie to our trailers, or put the horses up in stalls that were
provided. And we were not allowed to move the horse between 10 PM and 6 AM!
You know what, we all survived. As the distance world grew, whether
endurance or competitive, it was decided that it was better for the horse if
it could be picketed, or in some kind of portable stall. Now there are
areas where we are restricted to the size of the corral which is fine. In
state and federal land, we have to tie so the horse cannot chew the tree.
Restrictions already exist and if one wants to ride, one will deal with it.
