Yes, it's the rabicano gene.

Um, more correctly, it's the rabicano trait.  The trait has so far not been
attributed to any one gene (despite speculation of same in print by some
authors), nor has an inheritance pattern been established, but due to the
complexity of the expression, it is either a multigenic trait, or if it IS a
single gene, it is one that has irregular expression or requires modifier
genes to turn it on or off.  So the only accurate thing that can be said
about it at this time is that it is, indeed, inherited somehow.
