A couple of years back I helped manage a ride and we had a big 2" thick
root sticking out on a bank just right for a horse's leg to slide under
and get broken.  I went back to camp to get a saw or something and one of
the vets got out something I think they called "OB Wire" and went with
me.  Cool deal. It was just about a 2' long wire with teeth and a little
handle at each end.  It ripped right through that root. Looked like it
would be great to carry in your pack.  What do you say vets...is that
stuff expensive?
