Re: [RC] Rider bulging disc - DAldr94141

Hi. I was doing hay one day about 3 yrs. ago and felt something give in my back. Couldn't hardly move. Rolled out of bed each morning for about a month then let it go and had pain every day for a yr. Finally went to the Dr. Had xrays taken and they said I had Spondolathefis. Not sure of the spelling but that was a bulging disc. Went to physical therapy and did a WORLD of good. Some discs bulge inward but mine was bulging outwards toward the back. What is yours? Do you know? Reason I ask is because the stretching exercises I do are for my type of bulge only. I am not supposed to stretch forward (that pushes it back out) but I lie on the floor or on the bed on my stomach and push up with my arms 10 times. When I was flexible enough to do that then I had to breathe out while pushing up (leave pelvis contacting the floor) then when I'm up, I breathe out. Big difference. Feels great. I do these almost every night before bed and I feel great the next day.
I've done 25's with no pain whatsoever. Before therapy, just trotting and posting a few feet was painful.
