    However, it's also worth mentioning that about ten years ago a number of
    horses in LA died of botulism after ingesting a bit of bunny that got caught
    up in the alfalfa being made into little tiny cubes.  Size of the bale alone
    isnt either a prediction or prevention of botulism spores.
