I'm the same way. You'll find that on the longer rides you will
probably be able to eat a little, but if not, the human body CAN work
hard for 24 hours just fine with no food (as long as you get the water
you need). You'll be ravenous the next day!
On multidays, you should be able to eat something in the evenings.
I tried "power bars" and such, and couldn't get them down ... the
attempt alone made me naseous.
