I never had real trouble with my feet until I started senior rotations and
was on my feet 20 hours a day.  Yeow, can you say IBUPROFEN?  None of the
athletic shoes or boots helped, on a friend's advice, I finally went and got
some custom orthotic inserts made.  Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want, but at
least my feet aren't screaming when I get up in the morning.  They're not
cheap (about $150 for the first set), but you can put them into different
shoes and lemme tell ya, when your feet aren't happy, ain't nobody happy.
Anyway, worth considering, and probably cheaper in the long run than buying
three or four different pair of shoes that don't solve the problem.
