I use rebokk right now and my feet kill me after a 50. The balls of my feet are just aceing! I can't use riding boots becuase then when I get off and run they hurt.

    Any ideas?

Try a shoe with a more rigid forefoot. I like the Ryka shoes, with a wide toe box and narrow heel, lasted just for women.

Running shoes have very flexible forefoot area, so try ones labeled as "cross trainers".

I loved my Roper Cross Trainers (riding boots) but got horrible shin splints when off of the horse, and they were slippery on hills.

Ryka makes a "water shoe" that I haven't tried yet. The model I have has lasted for a whole season through lots of water crossings, and I bought them at Shoe Pavillion (a discount place) for $39.

Had used New Balance shoes before these, but with the wider heel they'd wear out there first, from rubbing up and down while I posted the trot. Good source for New Balance shoes at a discount is http://where-do-i-buy-new-balance-running-shoes.com/ New Balance Web Express. I was very pleased with their service; lots of closeout models from which to choose.
