RE: [RC] Finish Lines and Criteria - Bob Morris

I believe that every one should heed Nina's posting that gives the full explanation and it is from the mouth of the person that instigated the rule modification. Need I say anything else?

Randy, I believe Duane has settled the question and a correction is due in the Endurance News.

    Bob,

I reviewed past BOD Minutes and found the following:

October 22, 1999 Midyear BOD Meeting:

Veterinary Committee:  Duane Barnett, chairman of the veterinary committee, moved for committee that-
Any equine not meeting pulse criteria within 30 minutes of arrival at a veterinary check point within the ride will be disqualified.  To be added as rule 2.1.6.2.  Motion carried unanimously.

This is interesting because this was not added as a new Rule  2.1.6.2 - instead, the old Rule 6.2.1.2 was modified to include the 30 minute criteria.  I don't know how or why it happened this way.
