Re: [RC] Crupper - Maureen A. Fager
Hi,
The three horses I have trained to wear a crupper have never had any kind of
scene, including bucking, with the crupper on. You can start slow by
working your horse in hand and putting a rope under his tail. You can do
this while grooming, why wait until the horse is being rode? With the last
two I trained, I put the crupper on starting the second time they were under
saddle and they wore it while being ground driven and ponied, any time they
had a saddle on. Never a big deal. Don't panic or fret over it, introduce
it slow and incrementaly. Good Luck!
Happy Trails,
Maureen
