        Ranger and I did a hundred this past weekend and had one vet check that was one hour in length....the balance were thirty minutes.
        Thirty minutes for a vet check during a hundred sure didn't seem long enough....so, of course, we got out "late" each vet check, taking extra time for eating, drinking, resting, etc.
        He got straight A's on hydration and gut motility...
           ....I'll take getting out of a vet check a little late if that is the consequence.
        Granted, there are rides (Tevis, VC100, OD, BH100, et.al.), where "dalliance" has great consequence in whether the ride is completed within time constraints.....but there are, and should be, greater concerns.
