    I'm sorry, but I disagree.  Those going the longer distance not only
    go through more vet checks, the longer time duration of their ride
    puts more premium on the horse getting time to get some R&R and take
    in nutrition at each check.  It is more important for them to have
    that time at each check than those horses going a shorter distance.
    Ideally, the ride should have it covered so that the vet checks don't
    get backed up, but if they do get backed up I believe you need to get
    the longer-distance horses through in the shortest time.
